30/03/2023 - Origami, the new bathroom furniture collection by Ex.t, created by the Milanese design studio Bernhardt & Vella, is born from the fusion of Eastern art principles and Western painting atmospheres. The collection is presented as a preview during Milan Design Week 2023.

The new Ex.t collection translates the visual and concrete delicacy of paper figures, created with the ancient art of Origami, to reinterpret the bathroom with new shapes and unprecedented suggestions. A sheet of paper and a series of folds, each with a precise indispensable role in achieving the final figure: "Nothing is fixed, everything transforms." This is the pulsating heart of Origami and one of the most loved concepts of Eastern philosophy.

The protagonist is the sink, characterized by clean and distinct lines, inspired by the rigour of Japanese aesthetics and made of LivingTec.

Among the bathroom accessories, the collection includes the freestanding column and the cabinet, combining rigid shapes with glossy finishes defining an aesthetic juxtaposing full and empty volumes. Even the handles underline the Origami mood: the fold.

Backlit mirrors and brushed metal accessories complete the collection, contrasting with the glossy lacquers of the furniture.

Within Origami, Ex.t bathroom furniture aims to combine versatility, functionality, and design, creating a collection that seeks to reflect the harmony between East and West.
