Eco-sustainability and colour: the outdoor by Paola Lenti

26/01/2023 - A deep and comfortable seat, soft cushions, backs and armrests linear and essential: is Harbour, the new series of outdoor furniture Paola Lenti designed by Francesco Rota. Made with waterproof fabric Maris in different colors and padding in Aerelle® blue, the collection is eco-sustainable, resistant to the stresses of the external environment and requires minimal maintenance. Composed of armchair, sofa, modular elements, chaise longue and pouf, the new outdoor furniture collection Paola Lenti is versatile, suitable to furnish residential contexts and contract projects for hospitality.

The upholstery of the back and armrests of the Harbour line is made of Maris, a waterproof and easy-care fabric that comes from the weaving of Twiggy, the yarn presented by Paola Lenti 2020 and certified UNI EN ISO 14021. Fully recyclable, Twiggy is particularly resistant to dirt and abrasion and the intensity of its colors persists even under the rays of the sun. Maris is available in numerous colors that can be coordinated with those of other fabrics and materials and paintings in the collection. The padding of cushions, seat, back and support is made of Aerelle® blue, a polyester fiber obtained from the recovery of disposable plastics.  Thanks to these materials - designed to withstand the stresses of the external environment, consistent with the modern principles of the circular economy and dressed with the iconic colors of Paola Lenti - Harbour require minimal maintenance and can last a long time, thereby reducing its ecological impact on the environment. The furnishings of the Harbour collection have a structure in stainless steel AISI 304 matt painted in ivory or graphite, profile of the seat top and feet in natural sassafras or wenge stained wood.
