Pebble: Between Dreams and Reality
30/11/2018 - Research, technology, craftsmanship and story-telling are intertwined in the works of studio Lanzavecchia + Wai, the result of the synergy sprung at the Design Academy Eindhoven between the Italian designer Francesca Lanzavecchia and the Singaporean designer Hunn Wai. For Living Divani they created Pebble, a writing desk/vanity inspired by the materiality and organic form of stones.

Writing desk Pebble
A structure characterized by the graphism of forms supports the bevelled surface. It is an object simple in design but complex in its realization, with sophisticated details. Bevelled top matt black lacquered or covered in leather, in mirror glass or marble. Tubular steel base lacquered with epoxy powder coating gunmetal grey colour. Matt black lacquered drawer unit with three open compartments with removable drawers covered in hide.

Vanity Pebble
Surmounted by an irregularly shaped mirror, Pebble vanity reveals a surrealist and neo-décor spirit, poised between dreams and reality.
Matt black lacquered bevelled top or covered in leather, in mirror glass or marble. Tubular steel base lacquered with epoxy powder coating gunmetal grey colour. Rotating mirror, contoured according to design and covered in leather, fixed to a pivot-joint fixed to a tubular steel, inserted in the top.
