Potocco presents the new 2020 collections, calibrated projects which arises from the renewed liaison with Mario Ferrarini, Alexander Lorenz and RadiceOrlandini and from new collaborations like the one with the young designer Nicola Bonriposi.
By pursuing research on finishes, materials and solutions at the service of comfort, Potocco consolidates its vision of a fluid home that, by breaking down borders, knows how to open up to the outside.
The lightness of the hand weavings is still the common thread that makes in and out dialogue: the comfort of the interior spaces of the house is brought more and more outside thanks to complete solutions that allow you to experience these environments without borders, while the indoor spaces are surrounded by a sophisticated allure thanks to a selection of leathers, marbles and refined finishes from the material effect.

ANFORA design by Alexander Lorenz
Presented in 2017, Anfora is reintroduced this year in new versions transforming it through new finishes. The iconic base, whose shape is inspired by the ancient Greek vase giving it its name, is available both in marble and in the new Anthracite and Light Grey colored resinated quartz, which thanks to the material effect, characterizes every ambience, creating a unique and contemporary style.
In combination with the new bases it is possible to choose a top, available in two sizes, in bronzed brass glass or in two different marbles marked by important alternating veins creating beautiful patterns.
Protagonist of a sophisticated dining room, Anfora is a project with a rich aesthetic and balanced proportions. The monolithic structure that determines its decisive character is lightened by soft curves, recalling a dancing figure’s movement, an elegant and sinuous line that draws its profile.
LYZ design by Mario Ferrarini
The new chairs and armchairs in the LYZ collection reconfirm the now consolidated partnership between Potocco and Mario Ferrarini. The decisive and sinuous lines of the shell, dictating the strong personality of the seat, lend themselves to different looks, giving life to new variations and material connections.
From the version with sled legs, able to fit transversally into any type of context, from contract to the domestic one, to the cantilever in metal tube that winks at the Bauhaus style, to the more iconic version that stands like a sculpture, on the metal swivel cone base. The visible detail of the wooden frame, from which the backrest and armrests develop delicately, a recurring theme in the designer's projects, pays homage to the company's craftsmanship. The LYZ chair and small armchair are also available in the fully padded version, for a more informal proposal, but at the same time captivating.
Defined silhouette and refined details for the new TERRAZZO writing desk by Nicola Bonriposi. The light tubular steel structure contributes to make this proposal elegant and minimal, taking on a unique tactile and material appeal thanks to the slender top covered in hide leather.
To embellish the top, a light padding that frames the support area, expanding its comfort and at the same time creating a play of volumes and shadows that enhances the writing desk’s lines, while the purity of the design lights up in the bright bronzed brass’ details. The project’s inspiration comes from the designer's travels. Its profile, which recalls the typical Indonesian terraced rice fields, creates an oversize shoulder useful for placing books or notes, expanding its functionality and making it the ideal home office furniture.

OLA design by RadiceOrlandini
Presented last year in the chair and armchair versions, the OLA collection by RadiceOrlandini is enriched with new declinations: the OLA lounge, the OLA two-seater sofa and the OLA stools.
The concept of the collection is linked to the image of the wave, an organic and sinuous shape that winds in space creating lights and shadows that the designers reinterpret in the wrapping seats’ backrest, hand waved in 'Fly' ribbon, and which folds in three dimensions, welcoming the human body and ensuring perfect comfort together with the cozy and thick seat’s cushion.
The designers’ choice to introduce a change of inclination in the supporting structure gives also plasticity to the seats’ shapes while maintaining an extreme weave linearity.
Thanks to its agile metal lacquered outdoor powder coated frame, and its legs made with lacquered stainless steel AISI 316 pipe, Ola matches perfectly with the other tables and coffee tables of the Potocco Outdoor collection, entering into any space, from gardens, to verandas, to terraces.
