The magic formula is PVD surface
The term physical vapor deposition (PVD) designates a group of vacuum-based coating processes or rather thin-film technologies.

Using physical methods, the starting material is transferred into the gas phase. Subsequently the gaseous material condenses over the object to be coated and generates a new layer: A new surface with special characteristics has been created.

The advantages of PVD surfaces
The PVD process offers excellent possibilities both in decorative and functional areas. It results in perfect surfaces which not only convince due to their brilliant color quality, but also with their excellent mechanical properties. In addition to an enormous hardness, they combine high-grade scratch and wear resistance.

PVD coatings are also chemically and electrochemically very inert and thus provide protection against a variety of corrosive media.

VOLA offers its entire VOLA range in ten different, exquisite PVD surfaces solely for high-quality residential and construction projects. The choice is between brushed black chrome, black chrome, deep brilliant black, copper, brushed copper, pale gold and brushed gold and three new PVD surfaces.
