'Ramón Esteve Retrospective'
20/09/2019 - In these days Hábitat Valencia Fair is hosting 'Ramón Esteve Retrospective', a retrospective exhibition dedicated to the architect’s work. The installation, designed by Ramón Esteve, will house an extensive selection of the iconic furniture pieces that he has created for different Spanish and international firms throughout his professional career: Vondom, Porcelanosa, Vibia, Gandia Blasco and many others.

As such, the show is an extension to the fair’s initiative, launched last year, of recognising professionals who have made a special mark on the world of interiors and have a significant link to Feria Hábitat Valencia. Esteve follows on from Alicante-based Mario Ruiz, who created a much applauded display of some of his major work at last year’s Hábitat.

Ramón Esteve is an architect and designer; being each facet a consequence of the other. In 1991, Ramón Esteve Estudio was founded on the idea that architecture is a holistic discipline.

His training as an architect has led to a transversal vision in which Architecture and Design form a single, almost inseparable, concept generated under the same laws and the same design premises. Their aim is the creation of complete environments through an interaction between both disciplines where design acts on architecture and vice versa, while the importance and difficulty of both are taken into account.
