12/03/2024 - The quintessence of natural wood is reflected in
Tamashi, the new
Refin wood-effect ceramic wall and floor tile collection that reproduces dense and regular veins to create a linear and fluid surface without visual interruptions. Modern simplicity and a skilful graphic balance define settings with subtle colour nuances for a warm, minimalist effect.
Working on reduction, leaving space for light and the stillness of nature. From this attitude comes
Tamashi porcelain stoneware, whose name means 'soul' in Japanese. A wooden soul, therefore, that transposes the lightness and purity of nature into ceramics. The absence of knots and the regular veining contribute to the clean and essential graphics that define the collection.
A deliberate absence of marks and contrasts doesn't create a flattered surface, barely moved by a few flashing effects, but minimal and refined style is emphasised, allowing for the definition of large and seamless scenes. The matt finish and light structure accentuate the effect of warmthand essentiality, rich in natural charm.
The palette expands from the traditional woods to include seven colours – ranging from light to dark – to give the collection a new modernity. The evocative names chosen for the shades –
Sugar, Vanilla, Cream, Tea, Walnut, Caviar, Pepper – provide an unusual synaesthesia that conveys pleasant sensations. Tamashi is offered in the 25150 cm size, the classic board that is updated to design rooms retaining all the charm of the material.
