Retro Furniture with a Surreal Mood
04/04/2019 - The experiments developed by Seletti -the Italian design brand characterised by its unconventional and always original approach - and TOILETPAPER, the photo magazine with a revolutionary aesthetic founded by Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari, are unstoppable. On the occasion of Milano Design Week 2019, in fact, two new projects will be presented.

The Seletti wears TOILETPAPER collection, one of the company’s best-sellers that always combines surprising design with contemporary art, is enriched with a series of cabinets for which the vintage aesthetics of the sideboard becomes contaminated with the crazy and over-the-top graphics of the magazine: the ideal product to give a contemporary twist even to the most traditional spaces.

A bar stool is added to the upholstered collection – armchairs, sofas, ottomans and chairs. The elegant design of the structure, characterised by its soft and sinuous shapes such as the brass legs, combines surprisingly with the distinctly contemporary aesthetics of the soft fabric cover.

With Seletti wears TOILETPAPER, the ability to twist the retro mood of the fifties with the surreal images of the magazine is not exhausted, design and contemporary art becoming a perfect hybrid: exclusive design with a pop character.
