A jury of internationally renowned experts selected the collection between more than 5,500 products from 55 countries – their assessment focuses on criteria such as the level of innovation, functionality, formal quality, longevity and ergonomics. Appreciated for its high design quality, the collection designed by Zaven | Enrica Cavarzan & Marco Zavagno, awarded in the “product design” category, breaks the traditional rules of ceramic: three-dimensional elements with different geometrical patterns and colours decorate the large CEDIT slabs, transforming the walls and spaces into truly scenic compositions.
The Red Dot Award ceremony will be held on 8 July 2019 and a sample of the collection will be on display at the Red Dot Design Museum in Essen.
