10/08/2018 - Japanese culture and sensitivity, which are intrinsic to Ritzwell’s innovative design, are today represented in Russia, inside an elegant international design showroom, Galerie 46. Developed on the mezzanine floor of a prestigious historical building and located in the most ancient and renowned district of Saint Petersburg – in Bolshaya Morskaya street – this exhibition space covers a surface of 200 sqm with wide store windows facing the street. The neutral shades of the modern setting with naked concrete walls, alternated with warm wooden surfaces and combined with the lightness of the sliding partition walls in iron and glass and to the extra-large rugs on the floor, all contribute to appropriately enhancing the various furnished environments and products on display. To best represent Ritzwell’s entrepreneurial spirit, the brand selected the Marcel 1610 chair, the Claude 1607 armchair as well as Claude 1601 easy chair for the showroom set-up. Signed by designer Shinsaku Miyamoto, all three models combine the oil finish walnut/oak wood of the structure with comfortable seats in leather/fabric to superbly express the perfect balance between creativity, use of high-quality materials, and sophisticated techniques.
