03/03/2022 - Roda
presents its new outdoor furniture
in the Outdoor Happiness catalogue, a comprehensive graphic and editorial project representing the brand’s new items and iconic pieces. The 2022 collection includes the new Mamba seating system by Rodolfo Dordoni
, Plein Air tables by Michael Anastassiades
in new sizes, the Levante series sofa by Piero Lissoni
and new Aspic coffee tables by Gordon Guillaumier
Roda’s 2022 outdoor furniture collection
is a complete system of modular upholstered furniture, seats, tables and coffee tables made of weather-resistant and high-performance outdoor materials like teak, cement, ceramics and technical fabrics.
Rodolfo Dordoni, designer and Roda art director, created Mamba modular garden sofas
. Straddling interiors and exteriors, the sofas are characterised by apparently suspended wraparound profiles, evoking the form and movement of the snake from which the collection takes its name. The backrests angle out slightly from the seats, while the structures rest on barely visible cylindrical feet.
Designed by Michael Anastassiades and entirely dedicated to dining, the Plein Air table collection
grows with two new table sizes and a chair with armrests, giving continuity to the collection’s essential style.
New items join Piero Lissoni’s Levante family of garden tables and chairs
. The teak structure with rounded shapes now graces the new sofa and reclining bed with an optional service table; low square and rectangular tables refer to the design of the dining table.
RODA on ARCHIPRODUCTS
Among the latest Roda outdoor furniture releases are the versatile Aspic coffee tables
by Gordon Guillaumier. Cast concrete for low round or oval tables. Conceived as a miniature architecture, the table is supported by vertical walls that generate concave volumes at its base.
