24/03/2020Tapis Rouge presents Val Camonica, a new collection inspired by figurative documentation of rock drawings of Val Camonica, Lombardy plain in north of Italy - symbols and figures carved in the rock over a period of more than 8,000 years – deer hunting, duels, as well as geometric-symbolic figures.

Working with the aim of constant innovation in mind, much like the artists of 20th century, Tapis Rouge plays with new color palettes, textures, and materials, seen in the juxtaposition of bright and pale colors, as well as a gradation of thickness and pile height to break stereotypes of «classical» rug technique.

The incredible tactile richness of Val Camonica captivates and seduces. It creates warmth and becomes a connecting element in the living space. A beautiful and exquisite combination of colors, shades and pile heights of Val Camonica infuses a glimpse of freshness and originality.
