Shapes and Materials that Recreate Epochs
06/02/2019 - The pendant lamp PEARLS is the new Benjamin Hopf design for Formagenda. At the design’s heart is a desire to create and be creative: opal glass spheres in three different sizes can be connected and combined into various arrangements to give life to new shapes. The new XL Pearl size was presented for the first time at M&O in Paris. Pearls by Formagenda

Hopf’s study of fashion and furniture detailing from different epochs is evident in the dramatic styling of this lamp. Depending on its customization and the surroundings, the lamp can convey anything from art nouveau to 60s retro décor. ‘I want people to form a lively relationship with our products’, says Hopf, who aligns each design with Formagenda’s vision. Pearls can be arranged in any desired grouping to provide the ideal lighting for the living room, above the bar, the staircase or an atrium. You can choose the color of the cable, the color of the metal details and can even create larger configurations of multiple Pearls for your project with a customized canopy, conceiving objects such as an oversized chandelier for a lobby or a cascade of Pearls in a restaurant. The cable is available in black or white, the metal details are available in chrome or brass.

The Pearls lamps lit up Formagenda's stand at M&O together with both classic pieces and other products from the brand's latest collection.
