Tonon took up this challenge and tested their Soft touch collection with this formula. The polyurethane used in the Tonon Soft touch Collection facilitates quick and effective cleaning according to the most stringent sanitization protocols.
After 1000 cycles no changes were detected on the surface of the material and in the color, a variety of fabrics tested under the same conditions exhibited color losses after only a short application.
In the hotel and restaurant sectors and at home, chlorine (diluted sodium hypochlorite) can achieve optimal results and protect visitors, guest and employees from contamination by bacteria, viruses and germs.
The integral foam shells are produced in aluminum molds which are coated in the selected foam color. During the manufacturing process a self supporting metal piece is inserted to add strength and rigidity. The pre-dyed liquid polyurethane is injected into the pre-heated, heat-conducting mold, where it remains for approximately 20 minutes. The internal characteristics of the shell provide a soft comfortable cushioning whilst the external surface known as integral skin. The integral foam “soft touch” is free of harmful substances and meets the common fire regulations in Europe and America (1.IM – BS CRIB 5, Cigarette test – CAL117).
