Sky-Frame Launches Pivot Door System
11/10/2018 - Sky-Frame has a new addition to its product range – “Pivot”, a pivot door system with an axis that was specially developed by Sky-Frame and allows the door to glide open easily with just a gentle push, thus immediately expanding the architectural space. The large glass elements are unique on the international market, feature Sky-Frame’s signature, high-quality design, and offer builders, developers, and architects even more creative freedom.
All it takes is a gentle push and the “Pivot” swings open easily around its axis. This allows the existing architecture of a room to be enhanced with temporary spatial structures. In terms of design ingenuity, the pivot door system meets Sky-Frame’s exacting requirements: The slim frame profiles have a minimal visible width of 40 millimeters. Thanks to the thermally insulated profiles with an exceptional U-value, the doors provide excellent insulation.
“Architects and developers want systems from a single source, which is why the launch of Sky-Frame ╩╗Pivot’ is a logical step to meet these requirements. Thanks to our technical know-how and our design expertise, we can offer pivot doors that allow architects to turn individual dreams into reality with even fewer concessions,” explains Beat Guhl, CEO and owner of Sky-Frame.
Easy to Integrate into Existing Homes
Demand both on the Swiss market and internationally is growing – on the US market in particular every second architectural project includes pivot doors in the spatial concept. “Pivot” can also be easily integrated into the existing architecture. For added convenience, it can be used with any existing home security system, which means the doors can be opened with keys, badges, or fingerprints. The mechatronic multipoint locking system guarantees maximum security.
