Royan: the Contract in the Blue Painted Blue

20/01/2023 - In Royan, on the French coast, the Flodeau studio designs the Rafales restaurant with Babel D contract furniture. Designed by BrogliatoTraverso, the steel tables and chairs of the Melik collection draw interiors and exteriors in a custom cobalt blue version, recalling the colors of the place.

The young outdoor furniture brand opens the doors of the indoor with the Studio Flodeau project for the French restaurant Rafales. Babel D contract furniture from the Melik line of tables and chairs has been completely customized, both for the exterior and for the interior, not only in colour but also in size. The cobalt blue takes up the marine reflections of floor and walls, while the tables' tops have been slightly scaled to optimize the capacity of the room.

The Melik collection was designed by BrogliatoTraverso for Babel D. The hardness of the steel that composes tables, chairs, armchairs and sofas contrasts the sinuous lines with rounded corners, reinforced by thin ribs.

All the seats can be completed with cushions covered in soft fabrics. The cushions can be combined with the metal parts in a game of contrasts or matching tone on tone. Babel D on Archiproducts
