07/05/2019 - The Portuguese brand Serip returned to Milan this year with a new space concept inspired by games of lights and shadows, featuring the most iconic collections as well as new bespoke designs. The highlight was the newest VOA Collection making her world debut at Euroluce.

Inspired by the natural world, the lighting scenarios are conceived as interpetations of an identity, and successfully translate the concept into a design that can, in turn, be expressive for its user. Voa by Serip

The species of swallows known as ‘Hirundo Rustica’ can treat onlookers to spectacular ballets, as they paint the skies fluttering in their flocks like ballerinas. Their funnel-shaped bodies are also a Portuguese icon, as they translate our soul with movements and shapes. The unique configurations that they perform inspired this singular collection, able to recreate beautiful visual compositions. Voa by Serip

Either in suspension or standing on the walls, Voa create a dramatic game of shadows and light. They can be placed aligned, side by side, on an extremely organic and sharply-textured tree branch creating extraordinary contrasts with the smooth and fluid shapes of their bodies.
