Sand and Sea Inspire the Outdoor Talenti by Ludovica+Roberto Palomba

17/03/2023 - The colors and the suggestions of Ibiza come alive in Salinas, the Talenti outdoor furniture collection by Ludovica+Roberto Palomba. 

The Salinas collection draws inspiration from the homonymous natural region of Ibiza, a project with strong references to nature and interior with the aim of reducing the distance between in & out. The Talenti outdoor collection is expressed through colors reminiscent of the sea and sand, soft lines and powerful shapes that recall the trees and the use of sustainable materials, such as recycled PET yarn, aluminum, stone and wood worked with "acetylation". "A landscape where land used for harvesting salt overlooks unspoilt beaches," say Ludovica and Roberto Palomba. "Immersed in greenery, contemporary villas with minimalist volumes throw themselves onto this landscape in which we imagined life around a large swimming pool. Sofas and armchairs in which the textile component is predominant. Together with flat cord and precious metal details visible in the ends of the backrests, they create an elegant and timeless charm. With this project, we want to bring the typical refinement of the indoor world into the outdoor world and shorten the distance between the two environments by placing them in continuity".

With sophisticated colours inspired by the seascape, the upholstery of the seats in the Salinas collection is a 100% green fabric, created from recycled post-consumer PET bottles. This material, together with the use of aluminium for the structure and feet of the sofa, gives safety and stability over time to the products of the entire collection. Monolithic bases resembling the mighty trunk of a tree support the top of the dining tables. Thanks to the choice of materials that pursue the philosophy of circular design, the tables in the Salinas collection are made of both concrete and Accoya®, a material created from softwoods subjected to a patented, non-toxic process known as 'acetylation'. The Talenti outdoor furniture collection is completed with furnishing complements and coffee tables made of cement and lava stone, matching the colours of the furnishings that make up the collection.
