05/02/2019 - Top residential and hospitality ideas from over 400 brands will converge at the Architectural Digest Design Show in New York from 21 to 24 March. From the new-on-the-block to the most established, the brands will showcase their offerings in furniture, accessories, lighting, art, kitchen, bath, building products, hardware, flooring and more.
The 18th edition includes insider access for the approximately 40,000 visitors to exciting culinary demonstrations, meticulously curated installations, and VIP industry events, such as Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS’s Dining by Design.
A space for sector-specific designer highlights Refresh features collections from kitchen, bath, luxury appliances, and premium building products in North America. Refresh will welcome the likes of True Residential, Smeg, JennAir, as well as newcomers like Fisher & Paykel, Cocif, and Graff.
Furnish is a rich resource for contemporary and classic furniture, lighting, decorative accessories, textiles, and art. New ADDS exhibitors will be Forged Modern, Sisyphus Industries, Opiary, and Vitrea, while returning brands include Ernest, Benjamin Moore, Echo Design Group, and KOKET.
Other sections, like the Shops and ‘At Home with AD’ spaces give visitors a chance to wander through a retail boutique with all the latest from brands such as Assouline, American Design Club, and Morihata, or to relax in a chic lounge behind Refresh. The space will be outfitted with Home Depot finds sourced by the Architectural Digest editorial team.
A major highlighy is the Made section, a carefully hand-picked collection of handcrafted, often limited-edition and one-of-a-kind furnishings, accessories, and decorative pieces from artisans. The roster introduces emerging artisans making their AD Design Show debuts, such as Fernweh Woodworking, Alexander Giray Designs, ANONY and Trey Jones Studio, to name a few. AVO Studio, Kin & Company, Peg Woodworking, Stefan Rurak, Tracy Glover Studio, Woodsport, and many more returning exhibitors will also be present.
The Architectural Digest Design Show is produced by The Mart, a Vornado Property and hosted by Architectural Digest. A portion of the proceeds from all ticket sales benefits DIFFA.
