30/04/2021 - Frigerio presents its first furniture collection designed by the French designer Christophe Pillet: the Horizon modular sofa inspired by the 50s and 60s design, the metal and textured glass Santa Monica coffee tables and the Analog wood and fabric storage unit.
HORIZON is the result of careful aesthetic and formal research focused above all on the modularity of the various elements. A sofa with linear squared design, inspired by the American design of the 50s and 60s, underlined by the particular shape of the painted metal foot, it is enriched by elements that reveal its absolute modernity. A wide range of linear, corner, more or less complex solutions, with asymmetrical trapezoidal elements, curved elements and two seat depths, to suit heterogeneous lifestyles and functional and spatial requirements in both residential and contract settings. The platform on which the backrests and armrests is suspended and covered in fabric or leather to accentuate its sophisticated character.

For maximum seating comfort, Pillet proposes different kind of armrests depending on the depth: two full-length ones with different thicknesses for the 97 cm depth and two full-length and one hammer-shaped for the widest seat, 107 cm. There is also the possibility to insert in the composition several accessories, which can be positioned both as central and terminal elements, which increase the functionality of the sofa, becoming a support surface, or with cushion an additional type of armrest. The collection also includes a valet stand with marble top, which is integrated into the sofa by attaching it to the platform and elegant drawer storage volumes in ash wood or Canaletto walnut to accommodate the objects of the living room.

Pillet completes the collection with the SANTA MONICA family of small tables. The three external tubular legs in painted metal support a round top, on which a textured glass rests in two new colour variants from the Frigerio collection: bronze and fumé. A family of small tables in different sizes and heights for flexible solutions to different furnishing needs, it is a highly sophisticated product in its elegant simplicity.

Last but not least ANALOG, a trapezoidal open storage unit, high and low, with two central drawers, it has a structure in ash wood or canaletto walnut which is distinguished by the tailoring of both the bevelled edges of the structure and the tops. A finish that further enriches it is the internal backrest covered in fabric in the variants of the Frigerio collection, to coordinate the customer's choice of fabric also in the furniture. A detail which confirms Frigerio's attention to different needs. The lower version is smaller in size and the upstand is outlined by a diamond cut for a softer, more pleasant touch. A glass bridge-shelf is optional.
