Realized in 2022, the interior and energy efficiency project has tried to enhance the historical value of the house of 280 square meters, protected by landscape and monumental constraints.

"Among the needs of the client was to improve the thermal and energy performance of the spaces" says Michele Perlini "However, since we could not intervene on the casing, we opted for a calcium silicate box inside that would both isolate the environment and prevent the formation of mold. In this way we have smoothed and standardized the spaces, without affecting their character".

A pavement in seeded uniformly covers all living rooms, while the ceiling is wooden coffered and the walls have frescoes at the top, illuminated as in a museum. In the living area, as on a white canvas, geometric furnishing elements are placed on the neutral envelope: equipped walls backlit oak, bookcases, wardrobes and an oriental-inspired sofa.

The kitchen faces the living room: three asymmetrical black volumes make up the washing and cooking area, the preparation area and the last storage area, tailored to the space in order to optimize the workflow.

Two large slabs in Lapitec sintered stone characterize the top: with a thickness of 12 mm, the surfaces in Nero Assoluto Velluto are distinguished by the micro-graininess that gives a particular tactile sensoriality.

"Nature is the source of inspiration for our work", says the designer, "There is nothing better than a project that starts from nature and returns to it".

The sleeping area of the house consists of two bedrooms with their respective bathrooms and a study: smaller and intimate spaces where the parquet flooring in herringbone dialogues with wooden wings that introduce the wellness area.

There is also the technological component: the main entrance of the house is directly from a private lift, while a controlled mechanical ventilation system manages the environment from a thermal and hygrometric point of view, as well as performing a constant air purification activity.
