23/09/2021 - Materials play with forms to become space. Skillfully crafted materials - wood, saddle-leather, fabrics, but also metals and marbles - give life to Meridiani's imagination and new collections on show at Supersalone 2021.
“Nowadays people need to feel more and more they are welcomed, protected and pampered in their homes, and in general in the spaces they live in. That’s why we have decided to propose ‘warm’ materials such as wood, combined with new textile collections in a range of soft shades that almost seem to hug you every time you ‘live’ them” says Andrea Parisio, the brand’s Designer and Art director.
The Meridiani stand at supersalone unveils this new combination of materials shown in four palettes of trendy colors: sage green, apricot pink, ocher and pure white.
The new collections, including the seats Emilia, Teresa and Teresina and the Vittorio low tables, invite to furnish with style and reflect a sophisticated personality; solid wood is presented in its naked purity or shown in the colors of the lacquers: from white to terracotta, from sunny yellow to the shades of mastic, from the most intense brown to navy, petrol blues and spice colors.
Following the wood-inspiration, Meridiani dialogues with the same material for the latest collection now proposed for the sleeping area, the Edoardo bed: its structure is made of solid ash wood and the headboard is available both in an upholstered version or in woven saddle-leather.
Meridiani also expands its range for home-furnishings inspired by a sartorial concept: the Harold and Louis modular sofas are now enriched with new modules while the Odette chair is presented in a new version with legs covered in fabric or leather, in the name of a sophisticated total-look.
