Material mix in Emu outdoor furniture

30/01/2023 - Natural and sustainable multi-material experiments for the new Emu outdoor furniture collections. Dining chairs, modular sofas and multifunctional furniture that mix teak and aluminum, with round and sinuous shapes with a wide choice of fabrics and upholstery adaptable to each other and any environment. Emu outdoor furniture is the result of Italian know-how and direct management of the product life cycle, with attention to materials, recyclability and energy sources.

Twins chairs play with the material in two versions: the first, simple and natural, 100% teak; the second, original in appearance thanks to the material-mix between teak and aluminum in perfect harmony.
The distinctive feature of twins lies in the ability to enhance the softness of the wood through a continuous line, generating a seat with round and sinuous shapes.
Twins is a complete collection that offers dining seats with and without armrests, lounge armchairs, sofas and tables, as well as a wide range of fabrics and upholstery with which you can customize seats and backs. Terra among the novelties of Emu outdoor furniture, is a folding armchair with generous dimensions. Design, lightness, strength and choice of materials are its peculiarities.  Designed by LCM Marin Design Studio, it is the new director’s armchair complete with footrests with the same design: a transversal product of great charm, suitable for any environment and more mix and match with other collections. Camaleon, design Andreucci & Hoisl, is a multifunctional and customizable modular system that, thanks to the various overlapping structures, allows you to freely create multiple compositions and obtain planters, containers, dividers and shelves in metal and teak. The coupling systems between the structures guarantee maximum stability in any situation. Reel designed by Pio and Tito Toso, is a "rocking sofa" that turns into a daybed as its back can be easily adjusted according to the need. The tilting and adjustable sunshade allows the light to filter naturally and dosed, ensuring maximum relaxation.  Coupole is made up of steel chair and stool and is a contemporary reinterpretation of the best seller of the same name, entrusted to the EMU Research and Development Centre. The unique motif of its back is inspired by the shapes of Brunelleschi’s dome.
