07/05/2025 - The former Caproni aircraft factory has become the new Rubinetterie Treemme showroom in Milan, located at Via Mecenate 76/b, and was inaugurated during Milan Design Week 2025.
In an interview with Archiproducts, Massimo Tommasi—Sales Director for Italy and Marketing Director—explains the exhibition concept: a creative hub of over 500 sqm in industrial style, enhanced by the deep tones of absolute black that create an evocative and immersive atmosphere. In the interior design project by the Q-Bic architecture studio, every detail is carefully designed to highlight the brand’s design and stylistic precision, showcasing both new collections and bestsellers.
The new exhibition space is conceived as a place for meetings and experimentation within the design world. In addition to showcasing the company’s faucet solutions, it will serve as a dynamic laboratory where dialogue and collaboration drive events, meetings, and activities aimed at fostering the exchange of ideas.
Inside the space, new products interact with Rubinetterie Treemme’s bestsellers, including the new W-touch and W-smart shower controls and the iconic 5MM and 22MM collections.
The W-touch series of shower controls and thermostats is characterized by a “press and adjust” system flush with the plate, available in both mechanical and thermostatic versions, for precise and comfortable water flow management. When not in use, the knobs integrate seamlessly into the plate, creating a clean and minimalist visual effect.
The same “press and adjust” system for turning the water on and off is also featured in the W-smart collection, an intuitive and versatile shower control enriched by a rotating function to adjust flow rate, available in both mechanical and thermostatic versions.
The 5MM faucet line embodies the essential features of the technology behind it: five millimeters is the constant thickness in which not only water flows from the spout, but also where all the internal mixing dynamics take place. Using a uniform thickness for all components—including the control levers and other applications in the series—gives 5MM a lightweight and essential design.
A new miniaturization technology for technical parts defines the 22MM faucet collection: 22 millimeters is the constant diameter for all parts of the faucet, from the spout to the controls. This diameter ensures a sleek aesthetic, clean lines, and great flexibility for integration into a wide variety of sink types.
