Rationalism in a Sofa

13/03/2023 - Ratio is the new Turri sofa designed by Toan Nguyen that will be presented at the Salone del Mobile.Milano from 18 to 23 April 2023. A tribute to rationalism: simple and comfortable lines for a product characterized by functionality and contemporary spirit. A metal structure with leather weaves welcomes cushions and backrests covered with fabric.

The new collaboration with Parisian designer Toan Nguyen inaugurates a path towards contemporary style for the Italian furniture company Turri. The result of an approach that reconciles design to the needs of industrial production, Ratio is a sofa that tells the current lifestyles and comfort in a functional simplicity with a rationalist appereance, as the name suggests. The new Turri sofa is an abundant seat with large cushions covered in fabric, supported by a metal skeleton with leather weaves that wrap the armrests like a moving ribbon. The complex is raised from the ground by thin metal feet in a contemporary language that focuses on the needs of the person who will use it. Salone del Mobile.Milano 2023
