Buddyhub Desk, the New Workstation by Pedrali

04/01/2023 - The new workstation Buddyhub desk by Pedrali enlarges the Buddy’s family seatings by Busetti Garuti Radaelli. Presented on the occasion of Orgatec 2022, Buddyhub desk is characterised by a sound absorbing perimetrical panel that embraces a solid laminate top, creating a sort of enclosed niche that ensure acoustic and visual privacy. “Buddyhub desk is the natural extension of Buddyhub, the family of upholstered seatings for the workspaces launched in 2020. It is a piece of furniture designed to protect against the noise and distractions typical of co- working areas. At the desk, in fact, there’s the need to reduce interferences from the surrounding environment in order to concentrate effectively on one's work, and Buddyhub desk aims at meeting this need.” – tell the designers. This new piece of furniture can be configured as a workstation, and it can be fitted with a cable management unit. Alternatively, it can be used as a temporary workstation, with a top that measuring 82x59 cm and 90 cm in height, designed as an intimate space for infomal work needs or for calls, in both a standing or sitting position. A pop-up socket can be provided upon request.

The panel is supported by slender lightweight frame that promotes functionality and makes cleaning and maintenance operations easier. To increase the versatility of this element, a variety of accessories can be added such as steel coat hangers or magazine holders powder-coated in a variety of colours. Buddyhub desk is a modular element that can be combined with other Buddyhub Desks or lounge seats from the same collection, with backrests available in two heights. The different elements can be repeated and combined to create workspaces or lounge areas, individual workstations for greater concentration or collaborative and meeting areas.
