15/12/2014 - With their project "The running, linking thread" Ignacio Ruiz Mendaza and Amaia De Vicente González, two students at the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra (ETSAUN) are the winners of the Design an exhibition space for Lottus and Ema Award, organized by Enea, SPIU Mobiliario and this centre of higher education.
Aimed to all ETSAUN Degree, Graduate and Master students, the aim of the competition was to design the exhibition and presentation of the new Lottus and Ema chairs, produced by Enea Design and designed by Lievore Altherr Molina. The contestants also had to explain, within the same exhibition space, the evolution of the Lottus collection design.
The basis of the winning project "The running, linking thread” suggests a new way of displaying products and uses a thread that accompanies the visitor throughout the exhibition, showing the different itineraries. These routes are delimited by signs presenting each of the Lottus and Ema chair models. All the panels incorporate gentle colours that help create a pleasant atmosphere.
At the same time, from the street, the colourful interiors attract the attention of passersby, also drawed to flashy posters inviting them to discover, from the window, new ways and perspectives of the exhibition. The winners will be awarded with an office chair of the Lottus collection and their design can be visited on the street Esquiroz number 9, in Pamplona (Spain).
The jury of the contest has been composed of design, architecture and interior design professionals, a representative of SPIU Mobiliario, a member of Enea Design, a teacher and a student of ETSAUN.
