16/03/2023 - Fluid, oval, and inspired by the movement of tides: this is the design of Tidal, the new ceiling lamp by Lodes. The light has a ring-shaped structure, with one side wider than the other, capable of changing depending on the position from which it is observed. Tidal was born from the collaboration between the Veneto-based brand and Needs Studio.

The new Lodes ceiling lamp is made of die-cast aluminium. All technical elements are hidden inside the lamp body, maximizing the aesthetic value of the object, whose LED source simultaneously projects light downwards and upwards for diffused lighting in the environment.

"The studio focused on pure forms, on the difference in a section that makes the object interesting, constantly changing from all points of view, deforming its perception but maintaining a formal rigour," explains Needs Studio, an Italian product design studio founded in 2020 by Davide Gerlin, Marco Brunato, and Matteo Coracin.

Tidal is available only in the 60cm dimension in three opaque shades: white, earth, or champagne, making it suitable for minimalist interiors or spaces with more enveloping and elegant colours.

The new Lodes ceiling lamp reflects the brand's commitment to expert lighting solutions for interior and exterior design, with a contemporary and accessible design. As a result, tidal is suitable for a wide range of environments, such as a living room in a house or a hotel room or in non-linear compositions of multiple elements, for example, in the hallways of a hotel or office spaces.
