Wallpaper With Ultra-Thin Ceramic Slabs
05/02/2019 - Wonderwall is the project by Cotto d’Este which, inspired by interior decoration, interprets wallpaper decorations with slabs made of Kerlite, ultra-thin, large-format porcelain stoneware.

With Wonderwall, the brand is taking a completely unique approach by offering the most original designs for decorating rooms with a material that retains its characteristics of resistance, durability over time and great practicality.

The large thin Kerlite slabs – the first in the world with a thickness of only 3.5 mm – become white canvases on which Cotto d’Este projects patterns and effects. Thanks to an extremely innovative printing technology, the company can give the images exceptional precision and a three-dimensional quality, exploring ceramic beauty and attention to detail through products with an authoritative and distinctive impact that can give rooms a sense of luxury, prestige and exclusivity.

Small sections of walls can thus become architectural elements that characterize a room and draw attention to it, without disturbing the harmony of the environment. These visually striking spaces lend depth to a room in the absence of architectural interventions to create new walls, wings or arches. These perspective effects make a wall, with its colour and graphic patterns, the standout feature of a room.

Offering 4 new themes, the Wonderwall collection is now expanding its range of decorative subjects: Zen, Dream, Jungle and Frame.
Zen

Zen

Zen has a delicate and gentle character, perfect for sophisticated rooms with a contemporary style. The light colours chosen for this theme enable the creation of bright and welcoming architectural spaces.
Dream

Dream

Dream evokes a dreamlike world with an enchanted and fairytale spirit, featuring designs and shades inspired by nature to recreate a magical and characterful environment.
Jungle

Jungle

Jungle is inspired by the latest decoration trends, evoking a luxuriant, exotic, primordial nature. The bright colours and irregular patterns enrich and act as a backdrop for both contemporary and classic environments.
Frame

Frame

Finally, Frame is defined by geometric designs and references to Cubist paintings. This abstract, refined theme is suitable for the most sophisticated spaces.
Thanks to its soft shades, this pattern manages to be both whimsical and graceful, perfectly adapting to different styles.

Wonderwall is available in two formats, 100x100 cm and 300x100 cm, in the ultra-thin 3.5mm Kerlite slabs reinforced with fibreglass for unrivalled flexibility and resistance.
