Pastorelli, founded in 1967, today boasts an experience of over 40 years in the construction of floor and wall tiles. Productively active in the two factories of Savignano sul Panaro, Pastorelli was one of the first companies to produce gres porcelain in the 90s, becoming a reference in the field for creativity and product innovation.

The expertise of human resources, gained during this long period, combined with the potential of modern technology, recently introduced, have enabled the achievement of high standards of quality and aesthetic. Belonging to a major industrial group, has finally allowed the trademark Pastorelli confidence to deal with the global market.

Pastorelli: Environmental policy

Respect for the environment and natural resources, together with attention to limiting energy consumption, are a goal that Pastorelli has always consistently and carefully pursued. Our goal is to provide our clients with an aesthetically attractive and high-tech product that has been created with respect for the environment. Pastorelli’s Environmental Policy can be summarized in the following points:
1. Awareness training for our employees about environmental problems and energy saving;
2. Careful selection of our suppliers following criteria of attention to environmental awareness;
3. Elimination of industrial water waste produced during the manufacturing process through their complete internal re-use, as well as authorized recovery of third party water waste;
4. Reduction of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere in line with Kyoto Protocol requirements;
5. Recovery in the manufacturing cycle of unfired processed materials;
6. Separate waste collection and transfer to authorized companies for recycling;
7. Reduction of external sound pollution;
8. The characteristics of Del Conca products allow for their post-consumer use in substrates to provide stability to roads or buildings without posing a threat to the environment;
9. Continuous updating of our environmental policy.

Pastorelli annually prepares a report on its environmental performance, comparing it with the INTEGRATED POLLUTION PREVENTION & CONTROL, Environmental Integrated Authorization Directive 2008/1/EC, and the BEST AVAILABLE TECHNIQUES in the ceramic manufacturing industry.

Pastorelli: GBC Italy

Pastorelli was a member of Building Council Italy until March 2016. GBC intends to introduce the LEED – Leadership Energy in Environmental and Design – independent certification system in Italy, the parameters of which establish precise design and costruction criteria for buildings that are healthy and energetically efficient with limited environmental impact.

Since May 2004 it finally entered into the Group Del Conca undergoing aradical restructuring of production and trade in a general renewal project realized through the enhancement of best already existing expertise in the company.
