DUE PIÙ By ACERBIS
Featuring aesthetics that speak a language of the Future, the Due Più armchair can be considered one of Nanda Vigo’s
manifesto-projects, the synthesis of her two souls: her esprit de géométrie evident in the light-reflecting minimal metal structure and her eccentric and pioneering spirit. A surprising and enigmatic object with a unique physiognomy conferred by the use of the two rollers that seem to float. Although its appearance suggests otherwise, all three modes of use are surprisingly ergonomic and comfortable: regular sitting, side sitting with one arm resting on the upper roller, and reverse sitting, in which the roller-back becomes the perfect support for the forearms. It is reinterpreted today with a steel frame and fur recovered from food industry waste, in a logic of circular economy that makes it compatible with the contemporary ethos.
Back and seat
The seat and back are padded with single-density polyurethane foam in a Ø19 cm cylindrical shape upholstered in Mongolia goat fur in white, black and rust. This upholstery gives the rollers a voluminous elegant effect.
Structure
Sled frame in Ø3 cm tubular metal with chrome finish. Plastic
feet.
