INSTALLATION
Installation type
- Vertical installation on smoke and heat evacuation duct certified according tostandard EN12101-7
- Fire classification with pressure up to -1000 Pa that must not be exceeded
Respect the installation instructions in relation to the direction of the flow of hot smoke
Installation method
- The nominal dimensions L and H of the damper correspond to the dimensions of the space to be reserved for the counterframe fixed without joints. For an installation of the counterframe on a slab, add the thickness of the slab for the dimensions L x H
- The Optone damper is reversible, positioning at the top or bottom is indifferent:
top left box = cable passage at top left + opening at left for 1 sash
bottom right box = cable passage at bottom right + opening at right for 1 sash
Type of fixing
- Flush-mounted on vertical duct
- Must be on a perimeter duct support with a minimum width of110 mm
- The damper is secured by 4 self-drilling screws supplied
- The GFA 007 'Classic' damper fits on the GFA 007 grille
- The GFA 007 Optone 'Classic' grille fits on either the 1 or 2 leaf damper
EN 12101-8 compliant damper designed to operate as an integral part of a smoke and heat extraction system
- Aluminium frame and calcium silicate sashes
- 1 or 2 leaf version
- Electromagnetic release (VM) or current interrupting (VDS) at 24/48 VDC
- The damper is available in 2 versions:
Optone "+ Grille"
Optone "Classic"
- Reduction of pressure losses by means of the sash closing system
- 2 elastomer seals, clipped into the grooves of the frame, ensure a cold seal
the first one ensures the seal of the frame to thesash
the second ensures the frame's seal to the duct
- 2 intumescent gaskets, installed on the perimeter of the damper, ensure the hot seal
FIELDS OF APPLICATION
Rooms subject to the EN 12101-8 standard prescriptions where it is necessary to ensure the correct evacuation of smoke and that the escape routes are free of them, to allow people to leave safely.
CLASSIFICATION
Optone dampers are certified according to EN 13501-4 for installation in Promatect L500 ducts and EN 1366-9 ducts made of the same material and with the same density
- Optone "+ Grille" dampers are certified EI 90 S
- Optone "Classic" dampers are certified EI 120 S
- Optone "Classic" dampers with H>1000 mm are certified EI 60 S s
