Aluminium casement window
ALsistem committed to pursuing a Green path, becoming aware of environmental degradation has chosen to transform the concept of sustainable development from a theoretical expression to a model of change, and it did so by choosing a new approach, the NEOciclo chain.
Thanks to the use of NEOciclato aluminum and NEOtech bars in regenerated polyamide, materials that can be recovered and transformed in infinite times and at a low environmental cost, ALsistem has obtained the EPD product Environmental Certification for the systems of the NEO range, the only certification that allows the designer and the construction company to have the concrete guarantee of the veracity of the environmental sustainability of the product. The certification was issued by the Swedish Environmental Management Council, the independent body that quantifies the environmental performance of products through objective and internationally recognized parameters.
The NEO range includes:
- Two series for aluminum doors and windows: Planet Neo 62 and 72.
- A series for sliding doors: Slide Neo 106.
- A system for curtain walls: Sirio Neo 50.
ALsistem can thus offer the sustainable building market a series of compliant products to the requirements contained in the main environmental sustainability certification protocols such as LEED and Itaca to obtain the credits related to the MR4 for LEED certification and to the B46 for adherence to the protocol ITHACA.
The incidence of the content of the recycled material is around 25% on average, maintaining the performance in terms of thermal-acoustic insulation and durability of the product unaltered.
The LCA (Product life cycle) study also found that: the use of recycled material reduces CO2 emissions by 56% and reduces the amount of primary energy used by 48%, very significant results in terms of sustainability of the production cycle.
