MARENCO By arflex
Sofa with removable cover without armrests
1970
Marenco has introduced a revolutionary system to assemble the cushions and armrests at the base. The cushions are simply threaded into a tubular metal frame that guarantees the sofa's rigidity and durability. The base is made of multilayer plywood coupled with fibre and upholstered.
Backrests and armrests: internal support structure in painted tubular metal. Each element (backrest, seat, armrest) is individually padded and upholstered. Padding in non-deformable differentiated density polyurethane foam and fibre cover. Completely removable cover.
The unmistakable design and wide modularity still make Marenco sofa a must-have in contemporary furniture. Designed by Mario Marenco in 1970, it is still a great classic of Italian design. With this sofa, where the cushions have large rounded shapes, Mario Marenco has combined strength and comfort. In 2007 Marenco won the Wallpaper Design Awards Best Reissues.
