The Baumit Ionit system
Baumit Ionit is the only functional cladding system that actively regulates humidity and increases the concentration of ions in the air, thus making a significant contribution to the indoor climate and increasing the sense of well-being.
In buildings with concrete walls or drywall systems, there is often a lack of moisture regulation within the plaster layer, which keeps the air moisture content between 40% and 60%. Baumit has created the new generation of thin-layer systems.
The Baumit Ionit system consists of two components: Baumit IonitFinish or Baumit IonitFino moisture-regulating plaster and Baumit Ionit Color paint, which generates ions in the air.
The natural Baumit IonitFino and Baumit IonitFinish fillers help regulate humidity and keep it at a pleasant level.
Subfloors such as plasterboard, plaster or concrete are coated with one of the two fillers and finished with Baumit IonitColor.
