Dominic is a coffee table that is part of the family of furniture designed by Federico Angi for Bolzan and inspired by Le Corbusier's design approach crystallised in Dom-ino. The search for a multifunctional piece of furniture, ideal for the ever-changing needs of contemporary living, led the designer to conceive a piece of furniture with an essential structure, which can become a small table or bedside table or, in the version designed for the sleeping area, a practical chest of drawers.
The homage to Le Corbusier is in the name of creation: Dominic is in fact a reference to Dom-ino, the maison of the father of contemporary architecture inspired by the design of mass-produced houses, where floors become slabs suspended on pillars. Following this approach, Dominic becomes, in the small scale, a dialogue between full and empty surfaces where a column supports the planes which, in turn, lend themselves to different functions.
In this new Karibib marble finish, Dominic adorns itself with the colors and nuances of the marble, enriching its top and adding even more elegance to this ingenious coffee table.
