The special processing and subsequent brushing give this cotto a soft and refined surface movement that results in a
unique and singular figure, where it is the grazing light that highlights the difference of each piece.
The clays fully express their compactness and chromatics, giving surfaces that tell of the understated and unrepeatable
beauty of nature.
CottoZero: handmade terracotta like never before
CottoZero is a project born from the Ramazzotti family's desire to transform handmade terracotta into a high-performance material suited to the rhythms and needs of contemporary life.
The raw materials were the first object of study.
The precious clays with which CottoZero is made come from the Piedmontese deposits at the foot of Monte Rosa, quarried within the UNESCO Sesia Val Grande Geopark, a unique place precisely because of its geological formation, rich in many deposits of pure clays with great differences.
This careful research, starting with the quality and characteristics of the raw materials, continues with the analysis and optimisation of all the production phases. For this reason, CottoZero is today a high-performance handmade terracotta that is unique on the market; compact, resistant, breathable.
CottoZero combines the beauty and naturalness of a handcrafted material with the practicality and taste of a contemporary material.
