4AKUSTIK By FANTONI
Sound absorbing MDF wall tiles
4akustic, one of the most innovative and efficient sound-absorbing products currently on the market, consists of sound-absorbing lamella elements and is used for the cladding of ceilings, walls and partitions. In addition to providing high sound absorption and guaranteeing a high level of acoustics, the structure is characterised by itsaesthetic appeal. It is available in four different types of perforation and milling (depending on the required degree of sound absorption) and four types of melamine veneer (decorative: white, blue, maple, beech or silver). The slats allow for easy assembly and guarantee a uniform surface due to the lack of joints. The high technology used in the construction and the quality of the material, which ensureshygiene (lack of toxic and harmful emissions) without requiring maintenance, make the 4akustic the optimal solution for public halls, theatres, sports facilities, work and living spaces.
Panel characteristics-
Material
The material consisting of sound-absorbing MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard) lamellas can be produced in Class 2 with reference to the fire test according to European standards or on request in Class 1 in dimensions 4061 x 128 mm.
A sound-absorbing non-woven fabric is applied to the back of the slats; a rock wool insulation mat can also be provided during installation and, by laying the slats 200 mm away from the ceiling or wall so as to create a 'free gap', a further increase in sound-absorbing capacity is achieved.
Four types of drilling and milling are available to achieve the best sound-absorbing results across the entire frequency range.

Thanks to the precision of the interlocking and the dimensions of the slats (4.061 x 128 mm), perfectly flat and homogenous surfaces are achieved.
The three application modes allow for various aesthetic solutions while minimising waste.
