I Filati di Rex, the new collection created by Florim in collaboration with Rubelli, evokes the sense of craftsmanship of the centuries-old art of silk with large ceramic slabs that present themselves as innovative fabrics, seductive to the sight and pleasant to the touch, able to preserve the essence and importance of these craftsmen.The use of different fabrics in terms of quality, thickness and color, facilitates a wide range of proposals differing in the variety of decoration, texture, shades and finish.
From lampas and jacquard, all the way to the simplest silk fabrics, from rich, baroque motifs to more optical, geometric patterns, all of these fabrics share an extremely natural look.The collection’s nine surfaces are inspired by Rubelli’s signature precious fabrics that, in turn, are born from the contemporary reworking of several decorative motifs coming from the noble Venetian heritage of weaving.
TECHNICAL NOTES
The collection I Filati di Rex is available in large Magnum formats 120x280, 120x240, 60x120 cm in 6 mm thickness and produced in decorated porcelain stoneware. Each variation is presented in different shades evoking Rubelli’s original fabrics, reinterpreting them in the color gradation most fitting to create spaces enriched with ceramic surfaces. All the aesthetic variations come in matte, excluding the Bestegui for which the glossy finish is also available.
