“Why should fire be fixed to the ground?” questions Dominique Imbert. The elegant shape of this open fire maximises its heat efficiency, and its pure lines are perfectly proportioned. Easy to clean and install, its blend of function and form makes the Ergofocus oneof the most popular of Focus’s suspended models. This inspired model was exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in Stockholm in 2000.
Characteristics
hearth: diameter 0.95 m, weight 63 kg; standard plate weight: 19 kg; flue: 16 kg/m, (made to measure); highly heat-resistant matt black paint; trapdoor for removing ash. A stainless steel ball-bearing system allows the fireplace to be rotated so it can be easily directed to face different parts of the room. guaranteed efficiency with a minimum flue length (interior plus exterior) of 3.25 m.
