The Varnì washbasin, designed by Giuseppe Venuta, carries forward the study of organic shapes by catering to the natural grain of stone, a study started with the Neele washstand. The stone block is processed to make it thinner, not unlike a “folding” marble slab, thus underscoring its lightness.
The symmetrical-looking shape, as compared to traditional washstands, easily conceals drainage hardware, while still allowing for a completely ergonomic use.
