The ILLUSION glass desk designed by Alain Gilles for Glass Variations is an exceptional furniture piece with multiple functions and facets.‎ It can be set as a console leaning against a wall or as a stand-alone office desk or home desk.‎ Combining geometric lines and shapes, the ILLUSION desk mixes two different types of glass laminated and assembled by UV bonding.‎ For the ILLUSION collection, the designer Alain Gilles has declined consoles in several dimensions and invented with Glass Variations the concept of console desk.‎

Details: Laminated glass, 16 to 20mm thick with the top layer in a grey glass laminated with an extra-clear glass.‎ The desk is hand assembled by UV bonding.‎
Variations: grey or bronze tinted glass, others colours are available for the desk as well as for the consoles.‎
Manufactured in France on demand
Production lead time: 6 weeks

The ILLUSION collection by the Belgian designer Alain Gilles is defined by simple, essential geometric lines: a combination of rectangles and curves with a “trompe l’œil” effect.‎ The graphic interplay is reminiscent of the minimalist designs of the Bauhaus movement of the 1920s.‎
The ILLUSION console desk is a combination of laminated glass sheets assembled by UV bonding.‎ A unique masterpiece with multiple functions.‎ It takes the form of an elegant console to lean to a wall, or an exceptional desk in the middle of a room or office.‎ A small and delicate Console completes this collection with its graphic, structured forms.‎ Refined, the Console S can easily fit into an interior with its frosted and textured glass, as well as in its coral variation.‎ Other sizes, M and L, are available to suit all furnishing needs.‎
