Bituminous and butyl sealant
Double-Sided Butyls are sealing tapes consisting of a butyl rubber adhesive compound.
The compounds available are:
T1520: hard cohesion;
BK: aggressive tack for porous surfaces;
T1292: high internal cohesion.
Good shape stability and mechanical features;
Highly soft and adaptable;
Instantly, highly and permanently adhesive;
Vapour and waterproof self-sealing;
Excellent heat stability;
No oil migration;
These tapes are an excellent joint and fixation element for glass, steel, Plexiglas, polycarbonate, wood, aluminium, PVC and most other common materials.
These tapes have been designed to connect flexibly sheets or panels not subjected to mechanical constraints.
They can be used for temporary fixing before a permanent mechanical junction.
In addition, they have damping properties for vibrations between two supports.
