Glass and bronze crafting, mastering electric power, lines simplicity render Jean Perzel lightings into timeless pieces.
Olivier Raidt, little nephew of Jean Perzel, is a recipient of this know-how and, for the past 30 years, has been attached to carry on the spirit of the House Perzel.
He thought of a colored touch that would reveal iconic models of the house.
And so, a new line was created : Perzel Contemporain.
41 E- This floor lamp from the 1930s was chosen to decorate the grand luxury “Trouville” apartment on the cruise liner “Normandie” in 1935 and was also selected for the “Galerie des pas perdus” of the United Nations in Geneva (UN).
The city of Paris bought it for the international exhibition of Arts and Techniques of 1937.
It is exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in Paris.
