Inca by KE: The New Built-In Awning That Seamlessly Blends into Architecture A concept in tune with the constant evolving trends for the outdoor, to create increasingly comfortable shaded spaces, where function and aesthetics intertwine with life moments of relaxation and socialization, under the sign of design. The “new simplicity” in architecture inspires KE’s new product: INCA combines elegance with the durability of timeless construction. It offers a refined lighter alternative to the more opulent shapes of traditional sun protection systems.
Inca embodies the most contemporary requests of product design, aligning perfectly with the growing trend of sustainable, minimalist architecture. It is the ideal solution for those seeking a modern composition with cleaner essential elements, free of unnecessary visual clutter.
Inca is the first fully built-in retractable arm awning of KE. Once the awning is closed, it disappears completely, seamlessly integrated in the façade, leaving on display only the terminal profile. Featuring a square bar with a tilting system, it ensures a perfect wall closure. With a width of up to 600 cm and a projection of up to 360 cm, INCA can also be equipped with LED-integrated arms, providing ideal evening illumination. To enhance its appeal, INCA has been engineered for easy niche installation, as well as effortless motor replacement and maintenance.
The terminal profile, made of extruded aluminum and powder-coated to match wall colors, ensures perfect aesthetic integration. With a maximum inclination of 20 degrees and an integrated drainage system, INCA prevents water stagnation within the niche. Unlike traditional awnings, INCA becomes an integral part of the architectural vision from the very beginning of a building’s design process. It transforms from a simple accessory into a key architectural element that defines both the style and functionality of a structure.
