ARCHETIPO | Table
Oval glass table
With Archetipo, kitchen spaces expand and go beyond the simple concept of functionality to take on aesthetic value and celebrate the cohesion of classical elements to contemporary one into original chromatic combinations.
Walls are ‘dressed’ of high wooden wall panels concealing those compartments generally devoted to cooking and creating an elegant but versatile space where tradition is tempered and renewed thanks to soft and dusty finishing and to the sleek central island element.
Archetipo, the island element representing a clear reference to those elementary shapes which Aldo Rossi used to love, is born from the collaboration with makethatstudio: it is characterized by the parallelepiped in solid wood placed on a cylinder, housing the glossy black induction hob and the sink area.
The shades chosen among a pastel palette highlight the contemporary mood and determine the volume: old rose for drawers with lacquered glass and celadon grey for doors and lower drawers. The wall cupboard matches with the central island element.
The new Archetipo table designed in collaboration with makethatstudio, has glass top and lies on two wood cylinders lacquered in old rose finishing. It contributes to an original stylistic balance between classic and contemporary.
