LIFE OF THE SNOWMAN
Glass sugar bowl
A glass sugar bowl in the internationally fixed snowman shape the origin of which is, despite its general distribution, shrouded in mystery.
A pre-shape of design for a person that spontaneously accepts a high degree of abstraction without efforts at needless aesthetics and a summary of his or her fate in one. The fate of the snowman as a children’s symbol of ephemerality is also expressed by the decreasing amount of sugar. With the sugar disappearing, the shape fades into transparency.
