Construction – Settees : structure of back in 3-layer particleboard and MDF. Structure of seat in mechanically-soldered steel and rods of multi-ply. Footstool : structure of seat in 3-layer particleboard and multi- ply. MDF clad in polyether foam and high resilience polyurethane Bultex foam. The entire structure is clad in 100 g/m2 polyester quilting. Base in natural or anthracite-stained solid oak, shaped on each face.
Comfort – Pullmaflex suspension on seat. Seat cushion in high resilience Bultex foam 36 kg/m3 – 2.8 kPa, 38 kg/m3 – 3.6 kPa and 100 g/m2 polyester quilting. Structure of seat clad in 100 g/m2 polyester quilting. Back in high resilience Bultex foam 36 kg/m3 – 2.8 kPa, 26 kg/ m3 – 1.4kPa and 100 g/m2 polyester quilting. Armrest in injected foam and 100 g/m2 polyester quilting. Back cushions filled with goose feathers (15 % down).
Making-up – Structure of seat/back : 3 mm bourrelet stitch. Seat cushion : 5 mm baguette stitch. Back cushion : twin-needle stitching. Removable covers (NB except leather).
Covering materials – Sintra’s very high quality of execution and finish demands truly exceptional covering materials : good leathers, either full grain or aniline-dyed, Kvadrat wools, velvets. A bicolour, even bi-material treatment is also possible, with for example the structure in leather and the back cushions in velvet.
