PAROC Pro Wired Mat By LINK industries
Rock wool Intumescent covering
PAROC Pro Wired Mat are non-combustible rock wool mats, quilted on wire mesh, for insulating tanks, boilers, cisterns, large-diameter ducts in industrial plants, petrochemical plants and thermal power stations. The flexible nature of the matting allows it to insulate well even the most difficult areas and equipment of variable geometry. The range of PAROC Pro Wired Mat for industrial applications includes densities from 80 up to 130kg/m3, produced bare or, on request, covered with aluminium foil ( AL1) interposed between the mat and the mesh (PAROC Pro Wired Mat AL1). The quilting net can be supplied in stainless steel on request.
Application
Thermal insulation and fire protection of plant, industrial equipment and, in general, conical, cylindrical and irregular surfaces.
Quality labels
Paroc stone wool products are able to withstand high temperatures. Binders above 200°C begin to evaporate. The insulation properties remain unchanged but the compressive strength decreases. The melting point of Paroc stone wool is above 1000°C. Paroc products have been awarded EUCEB and RAL quality marks.
Reaction to fire
The whole range is non-combustible Euroclass A1 according to EN 13501-1. In addition, PAROC Wired Mat 80 and PAROC Wired Mat 100 products are non-combustible according to BS 476 Part 4
Water absorption
<1 kg/m2 according to EN 13472 and AGI Q 132
