Shortlisted for FX International Design Awards 2019, the Moore bent plywood chair has a modern asymmetrical design with a single hole placed to one side of the back. It’s Liqui Contracts first product partially made outside of the UK.
The curved plywood part of the chair is made at a sawmill in the heart of a European FSC forest, where trees go in one end and the formed plywood seat comes out the other, making it a very efficient and sustainable process. The bespoke steel wire frames are made here in Britain where we put the components together by hand.
Our bent plywood dining chair is made with coffee shops and cafés in mind, but would also be suitable for a contemporary office setting. Available in a range of finishes and veneers, it can be adapted to fit with the style of your interior.
The Moore chair takes its name from the renowned astrologer; whose rather eccentric appearance was further exaggerated by his use of a monocle.
